We are an internationally recognized destination recording studio offering production and lodging just a few miles from one of the best national parks in the United States. Artists from all over the world come here to escape urban distraction and be inspired. Joshua Tree Recording Studio is headed by veteran producer/engineer, Tommy Dietrick, whose productions have contributed to millions of record sales worldwide and include top Billboard releases.
Multi-Room Production
Our production facility offers (5) tracking studios alongside a professionally tuned mixing room and a state of the art monitoring system from Adam Audio. Each area of the studio is mic'd up and ready to record at all times. This includes our drum studio, amp studio, main live room, vocal booths and acoustic studio.. Having each area ready to track allows you to quickly move wherever inspiration takes you. Need session players? We have relationships with some of the best session musicians in the business.
World Class Audio
At Joshua Tree Recording Studio you can record, mix and master all in one place. From Neve, API, Trident, and Manley, to Universal Audio, Teletronix, and Chandler, our extensive equipment list includes all of the top names in the industry. We offer best in class studio microphones such as our Telefunken ELA M 251, premium ribbon mics, classic Neumann mics and a full scope of dynamic mics. Lodging
Stay directly on site at our 3000 square foot artistically appointed lodge or stay nearby at the Sienna Sky House. We offer both single and double occupancy rooms. From nightly BBQ's and campfires to hammocks and stargazing, there is much to enjoy after the recording day is done. Our 2 acre compound is located in the highly coveted "Friendly Hills" area of Joshua Tree which is widely regarded as the best place to stay in Joshua Tree. Need a reset before or after a session? We are located within walking distance to one of the best local hikes in town.
