All of our tracking studios have been designed for optimal recording and ease of setup. Each studio is wired directly into the control room. At JTRS you can record, mix and master all in one place. Our 36 input custom analog console and premium mic locker offers the best of the best.
Studio A
Main live room & drum studio
Studio A is a highly versatile space which offers distinctive sound shaping capabilities. Our C&C house drum kit (12th and Vine series) is always tuned, mic'd up and ready to record. Studio A is known for its' natural room sound which is airy with a smooth top end and plenty of weight.
Studio B - Acoustic studio & upright grand piano
Inspired by legendary producer, Jeff Lynne, our acoustic studio creates a warm and vibrant sound thanks to it's all wood design and accompanying room treatments. Within our acoustic studio is our 1918 De Rivas and Harris upright grand piano. You will fall in love with its' authentic real world sound. For those seeking an electric piano, we have a classic 73 Rhodes piano as well.
Studio C
Vocal studio
Once you experience the right microphone for your voice, a whole world opens up and your vocals sit just right in the mix every time. Whether you are a fan of the Telefunken ELA M 251, Sony 800G, vintage Neumann mics or high end ribbon mics, the right vocal mic is at the heart of every great production. At Joshua Tree Recording Studio you can access the professional vocal sound used by some of the greatest artists of all time.
Amplifiers & Instruments
Over a dozen amplifiers are always mic'd and ready to record. Choices include new and vintage amps from Fender, Vox, Marshall, Guild, Ampeg, Roland, Gibson and many more. Additionally, we have an inventory of studio grade instruments including solid body and hollow body guitars, Fender precision and jazz basses, acoustic guitars, 12 string guitars as well as many boutique and custom shop instruments.
Control Room
Recording, mixing & mastering suite
At the center of our (3) systems of monitor is our award winning sound system from Adam Audio. Hear the full spectrum of sound in your mix including subharmonics in stunning detail. Our custom configured analog console offers all of the industry staples. On the digital side, we feature all of the top plug in providers as well as the latest Pro Tools system.
Producer workstation
Our producer workstation offers a series of useful production tools including analog synthesizers, a full weighted 88 key midi controller, a laptop station and scratch vocal mics. This workstation is the perfect way to draw and capture real time inspiration.
