When you just have to have that truly vintage color, EMI preamps, EQ and compressors are it. From Pink Floyd to The Beatles and beyond -  EMI consoles are responsible for producing some of the greatest albums of all time. It is essentially impossible to find a vintage EMI console, so we use both Chandler and Triton's boutique and accurate re-issues of these classic designs. The sound of an EMI style preamp is lush, creamy, slightly dark and dreamy. Think of the vocal sound on Dark Side of The Moon or the vintage quality of John Lennon's voice. Those were recorded through EMI preamps. It is a magical sound. These inputs also sound stunning on guitars or really anywhere a vintage vibe is needed. Back to equipment page here.
